New Kid on the ALA Block

Are you going to ALA? Maybe you have the schedule, highlighted your workshops, and mapped out your stops in the trade show – or maybe you are more of a “fly by the seat of your pants” kind of person – but no matter if you are a pantser or a planner we want you to come by and meet us! Booth 948!

Feeding Minds Press is a new publishing company with a goal of publishing accurate and engaging books about agriculture. We believe that kids today have a natural curiosity about where their food comes from, and we want young readers to go beyond “Old MacDonald has a Farm” and meet New MacDonald, who flies a drone!

Our booth with feature our first title “Right This Very Minute: A Table-to-Farm Book about Food and Farming.” Award winning illustrator, Renee Kurilla, will be signing free copies (while supplies last) from 10:00am-11:00am on Saturday and Sunday.

You can also stop by our booth to test your agriculture trivia skills, learn about our free printable books and upcoming titles, see videos from REAL farmers about what they are up to “right this very minute,” and talk to us about what kind of educational books about agriculture you would like to see.
